SAFETY
E Light Electric Services, Inc. takes pride in leading the industry in our approach to safety. We introduce new programs and processes to improve our safety and ensure that our employees can perform their work in an efficient and safe manner with quality and pride.
We have completed a full audit of our safety programs and policies and subsequently released a new Safety Loss Prevention Manual. Revisions to our electrical safety policy not only meet but exceed the revised requirements of The Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace (NFPA 70E).
We promote a culture of safe working practices and all of our employees are required to complete rigorous safety training on a regular basis. We measure and reward our staff on these practices to instill the importance of constant awareness and improvement.
E Light is the only company in the state of Colorado that has an approved in-house Department of Labor Certified Electrical Apprenticeship Training Program. This approach allows E Light to customize our apprenticeship program to include trade skills, technical skills, safety and leadership principles.
Our supervisory staff inspects all jobsites daily with a focus on safety and quality. The Director of Safety regularly inspects jobsites and conducts audits to ensure our safety and quality procedures are effective. This director also reports to the President and CEO and heads up the corporate continual improvement program. He also develops and delivers training programs for apprentices, journeyman, supervisors and management so that we maintain a culture of safety, quality and education throughout the organization.
