The work completed includes multiple electrical rooms, IT rooms, and a medical gas room that repurposes the existing space with two new operating rooms. The existing electrical rooms, including 14 electrical panels, five transformers, 396 branch circuits and 21 feeders, needed to be relocated 65 feet to the south. The interception and extension of feeders and branch circuits required a granular level of detail. The panels being relocated had to remain functional during the holiday season in order to serve the other 11 operating rooms during construction. This project also required two redundant generators to back up the systems while our team worked on the transition from existing electrical rooms.
