As President and Chief Executive Officer of E Light Electric, Perry’s responsibilities include executive management, strategic business planning, personnel resource management and overall business leadership. A 30-year veteran of the electrical industry, Perry joined the company in 2005. In 2009, under Perry’s direction, E Light started a new renewable division, E Light Wind and Solar, Inc., which has doubled E Light’s revenue in two years' time.
Vice President Preconstruction LEED AP BD+C
As Vice President of Preconstruction, David’s responsibilities include leading E Light’s preconstruction services, as well as maintaining excellent client relationships and seeking new opportunities. He provides oversight along with innovative budget and constructability solutions for the company’s complex design-build and design-assist projects.
A Journeyman Electrician and LEED Accredited Professional with a degree in business management, David started as an apprentice in the field and has been involved with nearly every aspect of project delivery. His time in the field gave him hands-on knowledge and “a genuine appreciation for the hard-working professionals” that make each project successful. He remains excited by the challenges and opportunities the construction industry presents and is proud to be part of the E Light team.
A father of four, David enjoys a host of outdoor activities including mountain biking, hiking and – when September rolls around, bow-hunting elk in the Rocky Mountains.
Vice President Operations
A dynamic leader and innovator, Jason has far-reaching responsibilities as Vice President of Operations. With more than 17 years in the industry, he has introduced new technologies and training processes that have helped E Light become a regional leader in electrical contracting. Prior to his current position, Jason was charged with starting E Light’s Colorado Springs office – and grew it into a $10 million revenue center in just a few years.
Jason’s career began in the field as an apprentice, where he quickly proved that his abilities exceeded his experience. He was promoted to foreman/superintendent at the conclusion of his four-year apprenticeship and went on to manage projects ranging from $500,000 to more than $3,000,000 in electrical costs.
Outside of the office, Jason is a family man, spending his free time with his wife and two children. In addition to long walks and “short vacations” with his wife, Jason enjoys hanging out with the kids: riding mountain bikes or motorcycles, or participating in a host of sports. The whole Wheeler family gets out and enjoys Colorado’s great outdoors often as possible.
Bob oversees E Light’s experienced accounting team including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Internal Audit. As Controller, Bob’s priorities are to provide guidance to the company’s changing financial strategies and generate timely and accurate financial data.
Bob graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor’s of Science Business Administration with dual concentration on Finance and Accounting. He started his career in the Denver construction industry and quickly became Controller for a longstanding HVAC and Temperature Controls contractor. With 10 years of experience and a genuine understating of the construction process, his background includes contract management, audit preparation, benefits administration, GAAP compliance, OSHA reporting, and budget creation to name a few. He is enthusiastic about the opportunity to lend his experience to and gain knowledge from E Light’s growing and evolving business.
Engaged to be married, Bob and his fiancé are outdoor enthusiasts and spend their free time camping, biking, hunting, fishing and snowboarding.
Director of Education and Loss Prevention
With more than 30 years of hands-on experience in all aspects of electrical contracting and operational management, his responsibilities include contract reviews and negotiations, labor relations, and legal dispute resolution. Recognizing that renewable energy must consider both initial and operational costs, Ted has been instrumental in using E Light’s prefabrication and Lean Construction practices to maximize the impact of each client’s financial investment.
Ted’s roots in electrical contracting extend back to the age of 10, when he started working with his electrician father. His professional experience has included project oversight in both the field and the office for a wide range of commercial construction projects. His certifications include Master Electrician, NCCER Master Trainer, OSHA Outreach Instructor, Lean Construction Coach, Electrical Safety Trainer, and a certification in legal case management.
Ted is a grandfather who enjoys fly fishing and spending time with his family at their mountain cabin. He is also a model railroad enthusiast.
Director of Construction - Colorado
A Master Electrician with 32 years of experience, Michael enjoys both the opportunities and challenges of each job, as well as sharing processes with Project Managers and Superintendents to make their projects more successful.
Michael began his career as an electrical parts driver for his uncles, and has progressed steadily from an apprentice to Journeyman, Superintendent, Estimator, Project Manager, and now Director of Construction.
Away from work, he chooses to spend time with his wife and four children. He enjoys golfing and camping with family and friends.
Director of Human Resources
With more than 16 years of HR experience focused on the electrical industry, Roseanne is results-driven and effective at building relationships at all levels of the organization. Roseanne has strong communication, interpersonal, mentoring and organizational skills and is recognized for working effectively with diverse workforces. She has been with E Light for 9 years.
Roseanne began her career as an Accounts Payable and Payroll Administrator, and quickly redirected her focus to payroll and HR – then to HR exclusively. In 2006, she obtained her PHR Certification and continues to stay current with ongoing education and coursework. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
She says that working for E Light has given her the chance to “work with amazing people and watch the company evolve.” She is especially proud when a new Apprentice with no experience successfully completes the company’s 4-year training program and obtains a Journeyman’s license.
Roseanne is active with her local church and in charge of their Children’s Ministry. She enjoys long walks with her husband and two dogs, reading, and keeping up with current events.
Director of Preconstruction
Mike’s vast experience in the electrical trade includes over 23 years with a combination of important roles from field leadership to preconstruction services. Throughout his career, Mike has worked on a host of complex projects in the Healthcare, Education, Wastewater and Commercial sectors. As Director of Preconstruction, Mike’s role at E Light is to manage the Estimating Department, including Design Build and Design Assist projects. Mike also provides insight for project acquisition and turnover to operations. As a Master Electrician and NECA certified Estimator, Mike brings tremendous value to the detailed processes of estimating, training and database management.
Living in Colorado allows Mike, his Wife and 2 kids to maximize life outside of work. He enjoys Snowboarding and other mountain activities, exercising and playing the guitar in his free time.
