Henderson Parking Garage
Located at the corner of East Montview Boulevard and Scranton Street in Aurora, this 6-level, 1,535 space parking garage received a lighting efficiency upgrade. This lighting retrofit project reused the existing fixture housings by replacing all 408, 150-watt metal halide lamps and ballasts with 80-watt induction driven lamps. The old ballasts, lamps and sockets were collected and recycled. The new fixtures have a 100,000-rated lamp life and require little to no maintenance. This retrofit is estimated to save nearly 50% in annual electricity costs.
